FairAgora has been mandated by OXFAM UK to develop the “Blue Brand” standard, a renewed effort to enable local and independent fishers to become part of the self-regulated certification process.

 

Blue Brand standard seeks to promote enviromentally sound and socially responsible seafood supply chain to deliver improvements in Thailand and other Southeast Asia countries.

The project goals include:

1- Drafting sustainable standard for small holders fishermen.

​

2- Implementing food safety at local level with Fishefolks association and retail shop network in Thailand.

​

3- Training on food safety and good practices.
