Internship Opportunity

The intern will be based in Bangkok and will support the communication strategy of Fairagora Asia (FAA). The intern will mostly work on maintaining Linkedin and Facebook accounts, updating the website and writing articles for the website, doing video editing, PPT, and flyers. The intern is expected to have a good starting knowledge of sustainable agriculture topics.

Your Role

• Assist in storyboarding and scripting for video content (for farmer engagement video).

• Work with the team to develop engaging video content that communicates the organization's mission and projects. Support the video production process, including filming, and editing with tools like Davinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or Capcut.

• Assist in creating visual content for the social media platforms of the company.

• Design email campaigns using tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Wix, Mailchimp, and Canva.

• Update the company’s website when necessary.

• Design promotional materials such as flyers, brochures, Farmer’s gift, and infographics that align with FAA branding.

• Participate in brainstorm sessions with the team to bring innovation in the methodologies and to increase the impact of the projects.

• Support the continuous improvement of the communication strategy of the company, with the development of new design concepts.

• Support the company’s international communication strategy by participating in conferences and writing articles for the website.

Qualifications

• Excellent English communication skills (oral and written);

• Proficiency in Thai a plus (reading and written)

• Graphic Design Software Proficiency: Familiarity with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Capcut, Davinci Resolve, Canva, or other relevant design software.

• Creativity: Ability to think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics, and layouts

• Adaptability: Willingness to learn new tools and adapt to FAA’s designs and needs

• Understanding of Design Principles: Knowledge of color theory, typography, and layout design. 

• Strong interest to work in a company with a horizontal management style;

• Strong interest in sustainability impact, and social and environmental issues in agriculture;

• Interest in working in a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary environment (Government, NGO’s, Donors, Civil Society);

• Ability to work independently, be proactive, work in a team, and stimulate good teamwork;

• Excellent problem-solving skills;

• Excellent interpersonal skills: assertive communication, strong empathy, ability to adjust one’s behavior and communication to different cultural and educational backgrounds, and ability to adapt and develop strong relationships at all levels.

About Us

Fairagora Asia is a Bangkok-based consultancy firm supporting agricultural operators on either the certification process or on their journey towards sustainability improvement. We collect production, environmental, and social data with farms and processing plants to provide risk mapping and to assess the priorities for improvement areas. We then conduct workshops and provide training to the farmers.
